Rohan Trinity Arrendal Weapon Guide — What It Is

Curated from the Rohan community · Published June 15, 2026

The Arrendal is a weapon unlike anything else in Rohan Online — it is bound to the Trinity race from the moment you create your character and will never leave your side. Unlike standard equipment that breaks, degrades, or gets replaced, the Arrendal is a permanent companion that grows more powerful the more you use it.

What Is the Arrendal?

The Arrendal is a Trinity-exclusive weapon that no other race can equip. Its exact form depends on which Trinity class you choose:

  • Rumir wields the Spiritual Sphere
  • Noir wields the Severance Gauntlet

Both variants share the same growth system and the same core promise: the weapon will never break. You carry it from level 1 through end-game, and it scales with you the entire way.

The Arrendal is also unsellable. Its sale price is 0, it cannot be traded, and it is bound to your character — fitting for a weapon described as a permanent companion.

Why the Arrendal Matters

Most weapons in Rohan Online have a shelf life. You upgrade for a few levels, the gear becomes outdated, and you start over. The Arrendal breaks that pattern. Because it grows alongside your character — gaining experience from every monster you kill — it is always relevant. The stronger you become, the stronger it becomes.

Enhancement values and enchant options you apply to the Arrendal are also preserved when it levels up, so your investment in the weapon carries forward rather than being lost each time it gains a level.

Automatic vs Manual Growth — At a Glance

There are two ways to level your Arrendal:

  • Automatic Growth — the weapon gains EXP passively from kills while equipped. It cannot exceed your character's current level via this method.
  • Manual Growth — you feed the weapon forged or regular weapons as materials to force a level increase. This method can push the Arrendal above your character's current level.

See the full breakdown in the Arrendal Growth Guide.

Quick Tips

  • Both Rumir and Noir use the Arrendal system — the name differs but the mechanics are identical.
  • Never sell or discard the Arrendal — it has a sale price of 0 and cannot be replaced.
  • Enchantments and enhancements you apply survive level-ups, so invest early and confidently.
  • The Arrendal is labelled with Race: Tn in the item window, confirming it is Trinity-only.

FAQ

Q: Can any other race use the Arrendal?
A: No. The Arrendal is exclusively for the Trinity race. Its item window shows Race: Tn (Trinity) and it cannot be equipped by Human, Half Elf, Dekan, Dark Elf, Dhan, Giant, or Aesir characters.

Q: What happens to my enhancements when the Arrendal levels up?
A: They are preserved. Enhanced values and enchant options remain on the weapon after each level-up, so you never lose progression you have already invested.

Q: Is the Arrendal tradeable or sellable?
A: No. It is a bound, unsellable item with a sale price of 0. It cannot be placed in a player shop or transferred to another character.

Q: Is the Spiritual Sphere and Severance Gauntlet the same weapon mechanically?
A: Yes. The name differs by class — Rumir uses Spiritual Sphere, Noir uses Severance Gauntlet — but both weapons use the same Automatic and Manual Growth system described in the growth guide.
