Rohan Online Recycle System Guide for Beginners

Curated from the Rohan community · Published June 14, 2026

New to the Recycle System in Rohan Online? This quick primer covers everything you need before you start combining items — so you don't waste materials or miss out on better outcomes.

What Is the Recycle System?

The Recycle System is Rohan Online's crafting and combination mechanic. It lets you combine two or more items — along with optional upgrade materials — to produce upgraded or transformed versions of those items.

Think of it like a forge: put in what you have, get out something better.

The Two Recycle Options

There are two types of recycle, and they work differently:

Recycle 1 — Standard combination recipes. Put in Item 1 + Item 2, get a result. Simple.

Recycle 2 — An upgrade system with a third Stone Slot for Preservation Stones. Designed specifically for upgrading items with percentage-based outcomes. Key rules:
- You can only place items registered as a recipe on Recycle 2
- The result depends on the item's given percentage
- Adding a Preservation Stone in the Stone Slot improves your chances of a better result
- You may also place a high-value item in the additional slot to further boost chances — the higher the value, the better the odds
- All shop-resellable items can be used for increasing chance
- ⚠️ Novice Preservation Stones do NOT work in Recycle 2 — use Rare or Unique only
- A banner appears on screen when your ingredients are valid, confirming you have the right items before you hit Recycle

The Most Important Rule: Recycle Never Fails

"You will always get one from the recipe result range. It depends on your luck."

This is the single biggest thing new players misunderstand. Unlike enhancement, the Recycle System always produces an item. You won't lose your materials to a failed craft.

What RNG does affect: which item within the result range you get. If a recipe says it can produce Item A, B, or C — you'll always get one of those three. Which one is random.

What "Result Range" Means

Many recipes show a range of possible outputs, like:

Hunter Kit (8Hr) + Hunter Kit (8Hr) = Hunter Kit (16Hr ~ 24Hr)

This means you could get anywhere from a 16Hr to a 24Hr result. The Recycle never fails, but you might not always hit the top of the range. Adding Preservation Stones can shift the range upward.

Stats Are Randomly Assigned

For items that come with stats (like talismans), the stat values assigned are completely random. The recipe determines what item you get — but the exact stats on that item are RNG.

Tradeable vs. Untradeable Outputs

Every recipe specifies whether the output is tradeable or not. This matters a lot:

  • Tradeable → can be sold on the market or given to other players
  • Untradeable → stays on your account

Check the output tag before combining if you're crafting for market purposes.

Preservation Stones: The Key to Better Outcomes

Many recipes accept an optional Preservation Stone to improve results:

Stone Effect
Rare Preservation Stone Removes the lowest-tier outcome from the range
Unique Preservation Stone Unlocks higher-tier outcomes (e.g., 15D–30D Hunter Kit)

Both are available from the Item Mall and as tradeable items from other players.

Quick Start Checklist

Before your first Recycle combine:
- ✅ Confirm both input items match the recipe exactly
- ✅ Check whether an optional Preservation Stone improves your target outcome
- ✅ Note whether the output is tradeable or untradeable
- ✅ Have your sealing scrolls ready if you want to trade the output afterward

FAQ

Q: Can I lose items in the Recycle System?
No — the system always produces a result. You consume the input items, but you always get an output.

Q: What if I use the wrong items?
The recipe won't activate. Make sure input items match the recipe exactly.

Q: Are Preservation Stones always worth using?
It depends on your goal. If you need the highest possible output (like a 30D Hunter Kit), yes. If any result in the range works for you, skip the stone and save the cost.

Q: Where do I find all the recipes?
Check the community Discord or fan wiki — most servers maintain a searchable list of all Recycle recipes.
