Rohan Arrendal Enhancement Guide — Orbs and Colors
Enhancing the Trinity Arrendal follows the same Crafting Studio system as other weapons, but with a few Trinity-specific rules around failure penalties and a dedicated preservation item. Knowing the two enhancement modes and the orb color thresholds lets you plan each attempt without wasting Grade Crystals.
Both modes are accessed through the Crafting Studio and both consume Grade Crystals from your inventory during each attempt. A warning in the UI reminds you: "During the enhancement, a portion of equal level crystals in your inventory will be consumed."
Normal Enhancement (Enhancer tab) — the standard mode. If the attempt fails, the Arrendal's enhanced value resets to +0. This makes high-value runs risky without safety items.
Premium Enhancement tab — adds an Arrendal Preservation Stone slot alongside the equipment slot. When a Preservation Stone is slotted and an attempt fails, the enhanced value is preserved at its current level rather than dropping back to +0. The stone is consumed on use.
Trinity Armor warning: Trinity armor pieces are destroyed outright if enhancement fails before reaching +6. The Arrendal itself is not destroyed on failure — it resets to +0 instead.
Visual orbs appear on the Arrendal model and change in color and number as the enhanced value increases. Use this table to read another player's weapon at a glance.

Quick Tips
- Always slot an Arrendal Preservation Stone before attempting enhancements above +9 — losing progress from +13 or higher back to +0 is extremely costly.
- Grade Crystals are consumed whether the enhancement succeeds or fails; stock enough before a session.
- The Arrendal is bound and unsellable (sale price 0), so every enhancement investment stays on the character.
- Watch the orb color shift: three Yellow orbs at +9 is the last safe visual checkpoint before entering the costly Red tier.
FAQ
Q: What happens to my Arrendal if enhancement fails?
A: The enhanced value resets to +0. The weapon itself is not destroyed. Only Trinity armor pieces face Destruction risk (at below +6).
Q: Do I need a Preservation Stone for every attempt?
A: No. You only need one if you want to protect your current enhancement value on a failed attempt. Without it, use the Normal Enhancement tab and accept the reset risk.
Q: Where do Grade Crystals come from?
A: Grade Crystals are gathered in-game (dropped by monsters or purchased) and must match the weapon's level tier. The game auto-consumes the matching crystals from your inventory during each attempt.
Q: Can I see another player's enhancement level without inspecting them?
A: Yes. Count the orbs on their Arrendal: no orbs means +1 to +5, yellow orbs indicate +6 to +9, red orbs +10 to +14, and blue orbs +15 or higher.
