New Grade Stats System Explained (Attack, Defense, Accuracy, Evasion)
The Chaos Update introduced four brand-new stat categories to R.O.H.A.N.: Attack Grade, Defense Grade, Accuracy Grade, and Evasion Grade. These stats interact against each other in PvP and PvE to modify final damage dealt and received — they do not function like flat stat additions.
The Four Grade Stats
| Stat | Effect |
|---|---|
| Attack Grade | If your Attack Grade > target's Defense Grade → Final damage increases by +1% per point of difference |
| Defense Grade | If your Defense Grade > attacker's Attack Grade → Final damage received decreases by -1% per point of difference |
| Accuracy Grade | If your Accuracy Grade > target's Evasion Grade → Target's Evasion Grade does not increase your miss chance |
| Evasion Grade | If your Evasion Grade > attacker's Accuracy Grade → Evasion increases by +1% per point of difference |
How They Counter Each Other
| Your Stat | Beats | Effect When Winning |
|---|---|---|
| Attack Grade | Defense Grade | +1% final damage per point difference |
| Defense Grade | Attack Grade | -1% damage received per point difference |
| Accuracy Grade | Evasion Grade | Evasion Grade nullified (no miss bonus) |
| Evasion Grade | Accuracy Grade | +1% evasion per point difference |
Important Disclaimer
Grade Stats are NOT applied to offhand weapons. This is intentional to prevent stat stacking that could create imbalanced scenarios, particularly for dual-wielding classes vs single weapon classes.
Where Grade Stats Come From
Grade Stats appear on Transcendence Chaos gear and scale with enhancement level. See the Grade Stats Per Enhancement Level guide for exact values at +12, +18, +24, and +30.
Quick Tips
- Grade Stats are a relative system — raw numbers only matter compared to your opponent
- Building Attack Grade while your target has low Defense Grade = massive damage bonus
- Accuracy Grade hard-counters Evasion-stacking builds
- Check your character stats panel — Grade stats now appear in the Character Menu tab
FAQ
Q: Do Grade Stats stack additively?
A: Yes — each point of difference between your grade and the opponent's grants 1% bonus/reduction.
Q: Do Grade Stats apply to PvE monsters?
A: Yes — they apply to all combat, both PvP and PvE.
Q: Why don't offhand weapons get Grade Stats?
A: By design — to prevent dual-wield classes from gaining an unfair stacking advantage over single-weapon classes.
Q: Where do I see my current Grade Stats?
A: In the Character Menu tab — Grade stats are now displayed there.
