Decoration Accessories (also called "Deco Sets" by players) are a 5-stage eye patch + ornament (earring) progression chain in Rohan Online. Each stage is obtained by enhancing the previous stage's pair to +12 and converting it into the next tier through an NPC. This guide is the map of the whole chain — use the linked mini-guides for the full recipe/stat details on each stage.
The 5 Stages at a Glance
| Stage | Deco Set | Individual Option | Set Option (2 SET) |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | Ancient Fantasy Deco Set (Eye Patch + Ornament) | Skill Damage +5% / Skill Defense +5% | — (no set bonus) |
| II | Warrior Deco Set | Skill Damage +10% / Skill Defense +10% | PVP Defense +5%, PVE Defense +5% |
| III | Hero Deco Set | Skill Damage +25% / Skill Defense +25% | PVP Attack +5%, PVE Attack +5%, PVP Defense +5%, PVE Defense +5% |
| IV | Trans. (Transcendental) Deco Set | All Stats +150, Defense +1000, Skill Damage +25% | PVP Attack +10%, PVE Attack +10%, PVP Defense +10%, PVE Defense +10% |
| V | Count Deco Set | All Stats +1000, Defense +5000, Skill Damage +25% | PVP Attack +15%, PVE Attack +10%, PVP Defense +15%, PVE Defense +10% |
Note: this table is the guide's own simplified summary, and for Stages IV and V it actually just repeats the Eye Patch's own tooltip numbers on the Ornament row too. The real in-game tooltips give the Eye Patch and Ornament of each pair different stats: at Stage IV, the Transcendental Eye Patch is Skill Damage +25% / All Stats +150 / Defense +1000, while the Transcendental Ornament is actually Skill Defense +25% / Attack +500 / HP +10,000 (see the Transcendental recipe article). The same pattern repeats at Stage V — the Count's Eye Patch keeps the table's numbers, but the Count's Ornament is actually Skill Defense +25% / Attack +2,000 / HP +50,000 (see the Count Deco Set final article). Always trust the per-item tooltip stats in those linked articles over this summary table.
How the Chain Works, Step by Step
- Obtain Stage I (Ancient Fantasy Deco Set) by buying pouches from NPC Eri at Fishing Hole, or by completing a repeatable quest with NPC Researcher A.
- Enhance to +12 using standard armor enhancement stones (see below).
- Convert to the next stage at NPC Letze (Fishing Hole) for Stages II and III.
- Combine with Special Fantasy accessories (from Researcher A) using the Recycle system to reach Stage IV (Transcendental).
- Level up Transcendental gear (0→12) using Count's Spirit + Advanced Seal Upgrade Stone at NPC Marche (Fishing Hole).
- Complete the "Traces of the Count" quest with NPC Epo (Blazing Temple) to earn Count's Wisdom / Count's Strength, then combine with a +12 Transcendental piece to reach the final Count Deco Set.
Enhancing Your Accessories
Every stage (except Hero and Count's final pieces, which cannot be enhanced) is pushed to +12 using standard gear enhancement items:
- Armor Enhancement Stone I–VI
- Safe Enhancement Stone (IM)
- Safe Enhancement Stone
- Fantasy Armor Enhancement Stone (Event)
Important: Enhancement Tickets do not work on Decoration Accessories — only the stones above.
Quick Tips
- All accessories in this chain can be traded in for conversion at any enhancement stage — you don't need to wait to hit +12 to start collecting materials for the next tier.
- The Hero Deco Set (Eye Patch of Hero / Ornament of Hero) cannot be enhanced — you use it as-is in the combine recipe for Transcendental.
- The Trans. Deco Set can be enhanced up to +12, and this level directly affects the item's stats via a scaling table (see the Transcendental enhancement guide).
- Budget for 1B Crones if buying Stage I pouches from NPC Eri, or save crones and grind the Researcher A quest materials instead.
FAQ
Q: Do I have to go through every single stage in order?
Yes — each stage's conversion recipe requires the previous stage's items at +12. There's no shortcut that skips a tier.
Q: Can I buy accessories mid-chain from other players instead of crafting them myself?
The guide doesn't explicitly confirm tradeability for most stages (tooltips show "Sale price: 0" with no tradeable flag), so treat Stages I–IV and the final Count's pieces as likely untradeable/bind unless confirmed otherwise in-game. Count's Crystal, Count's Gem, Count's Wisdom, and Count's Strength are explicitly confirmed tradeable.
Q: What's the difference between the "Individual Option" and "Set Option" in the table above?
Individual Option is the bonus from wearing just one piece (e.g., only the Eye Patch). Set Option is the extra bonus you get for wearing both the Eye Patch and Ornament of the same tier together.
Q: Where do I start?
Head to Fishing Hole and talk to NPC Eri or NPC Researcher A — see the First Stage Pouches guide for the full breakdown.
