Mirror Dungeons Guide — Onyx Farming & Boss Drops
Mirror Dungeons are four instanced dungeons that serve as the primary source of Onyx Weapon forging materials. They escalate in difficulty from level 131 to 170, with each dungeon yielding higher-tier materials and a consistent set of valuable boss drops. All four can be accessed from a single central hub at Fishing Hole, making efficient farming runs straightforward once you know what each dungeon offers.
Overview
The four Mirror Dungeons form a progression chain for crafting Onyx Weapons:
| Dungeon | Level Range | Boss Level | Tier Chakra | Flame Diamond Ring |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Closed Mine | 131–139 | 140 | Violet Chakra | Fire-A |
| Demonic Cave | 141–149 | 150 | Red Chakra | Fire-B |
| Keura Monastery | 151–159 | 160 | Gray Chakra | Fire-C |
| Sunken Sanctuary | 161–170 | 170 | Blue Chakra | Fire-D |
Every boss across all four dungeons drops the same core items — a tier-specific Chakra, a Flame Diamond Ring variant, a 54 Slot Bag, and a Transcendence Opaniel Weapon Change Ticket — with the dungeon tier determining which variant you receive.
Access
Mirror Dungeons can be entered from two locations:
- From the dungeon's entry NPC at its respective zone — each dungeon has a dedicated Gatekeeper NPC at a nearby overworld zone.
- From Fishing Hole — each Gatekeeper has an alter ego NPC at Fishing Hole, allowing you to access all four dungeons from one central hub without travelling to four separate zones.
Entry NPCs by dungeon:
| Dungeon | NPC | Alter Ego Location | Zone Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Closed Mine | Minor <Closed Mine Gatekeeper> | Fishing Hole | Crystal Quarry Undergrounds |
| Demonic Cave | Leddit <Demonic Cave Gatekeeper> | Fishing Hole | Ahkma Cave |
| Keura Monastery | Arthur <Keura Monastery Gatekeeper> | Fishing Hole | Sanctuary |
| Sunken Sanctuary | Wardon <Sunken Sanctuary Gatekeeper> | Fishing Hole | Water Temple Garden |
Boss Mechanics
Mirror Dungeon bosses have long respawn timers measured in hours — they do not respawn instantly after a kill. Track the cooldown when you defeat a boss and plan to return when it respawns. Bosses are worth the effort: they drop the best Onyx materials and all the bonus loot listed below.
Enemy players can also be present inside Mirror Dungeons. PvP is open-world within the dungeon, so be prepared for player competition, especially at boss spawns.
Dungeon 1: Closed Mine (Level 131–140)
Entry NPC: Minor <Closed Mine Gatekeeper> — Crystal Quarry Undergrounds (or Fishing Hole alter ego)
Regular Monsters
Four monster types populate Closed Mine:
- Atrium Sap (Level 132–137)
- Wasteful Thoughts (Level 131–136)
- Cronium Stone (Level 133–139)
- Sedrium Spider (Level 133–139)
Regular mob drops: Broken Onyx Fragments (Weapon), Onyx Fragment, Onyx
Bosses
Two bosses at Level 140:
Boss drops: Onyx Fragment (Weapon), 54 Slot Bag, Transcendence Opaniel Weapon Change Ticket (Boss), Violet Chakra, Flame Diamond Ring (Fire-A)
Dungeon 2: Demonic Cave (Level 141–150)
Entry NPC: Leddit <Demonic Cave Gatekeeper> — Ahkma Cave (or Fishing Hole alter ego)
Regular Monsters
Six monster types populate Demonic Cave, split into two loot tiers:
Lower tier (Level 141–147):
1. Toxic Plant (Level 141–142)
2. Contaminated Plant (Level 142–144)
3. Multidimensional Knight (Level 144–146)
4. Multidimensional Warrior (Level 145–147)
Drop: Unknown Onyx Fragments (Weapon), Rough Transcendence Stone
Upper tier (Level 147–149):
5. Ancient Mummy (Level 147–149)
6. Muron of Dimension (Level 148–149)
Drop: Onyx
Bosses
Three bosses at Level 150:
- Twisted Multidimensional Guardian
- Minotaur
- Bloody Murder
Boss drops: Cursed Onyx Fragment (Weapon), 54 Slot Bag, Transcendence Opaniel Weapon Change Ticket (Boss), Red Chakra, Flame Diamond Ring (Fire-B)
Dungeon 3: Keura Monastery (Level 151–160)
Entry NPC: Arthur <Keura Monastery Gatekeeper> — Sanctuary (or Fishing Hole alter ego)
Regular Monsters
Six monster types populate Keura Monastery:
- Deranged Farmer (Level 151–152)
- Dominated Devotee (Level 151–153)
- Prayer of Turbulence (Level 154–156)
- Spellbook of Wrath (Level 155–157)
- Corrupt Instigator (Level 157–159)
- Experimented Devotee (Level 158–159)
Regular mob drops: Broken Onyx Fragments (Weapon), Onyx Fragment, Onyx
Bosses
Three bosses at Level 160:
Boss drops: Onyx Fragment (Weapon), 54 Slot Bag, Transcendence Opaniel Weapon Change Ticket (Boss), Gray Chakra, Flame Diamond Ring (Fire-C)
Dungeon 4: Sunken Sanctuary (Level 161–170)
Entry NPC: Wardon <Sunken Sanctuary Gatekeeper> — Water Temple Garden (or Fishing Hole alter ego)
Regular Monsters
Six monster types populate Sunken Sanctuary:
- Submerged Pillager (Level 161–162)
- Submerged Resident (Level 162–168)
- Ruler of the Water (Level 163–168)
- Water Steelers (Level 163–166)
- Sea Hunter (Level 165–170)
- Sea Watcher (Level 165–170)
Regular mob drops: Unknown Onyx Fragments (Weapon), Onyx Fragment, Onyx
Bosses
Three bosses at Level 170:
Boss drops: Sealed Onyx Weapon, 54 Slot Bag, Transcendence Opaniel Weapon Change Ticket (Boss), Blue Chakra, Flame Diamond Ring (Fire-D)
Sunken Sanctuary bosses are the only ones in the Mirror Dungeon chain to drop a Sealed Onyx Weapon directly, rather than weapon fragments. This makes Sunken Sanctuary the highest-priority dungeon once your character level supports it.
Progression Patterns
A few consistent patterns make Mirror Dungeons easy to plan around:
Onyx material tier by dungeon: Broken Onyx Fragments (Closed Mine) → Unknown Onyx Fragments / Rough Transcendence Stone (Demonic Cave) → Broken Onyx Fragments again (Keura) → Unknown Onyx Fragments (Sunken Sanctuary). Demonic Cave's Rough Transcendence Stone drop from lower-tier mobs is a useful bonus for Transcendence builds.
Chakra scaling: Each dungeon's boss drops a tier-specific Chakra — Violet, Red, Gray, and Blue respectively. If you need a specific Chakra, target the matching dungeon.
Flame Diamond Ring variants: Fire-A through Fire-D scale with dungeon tier. The dungeon tier maps directly to the ring variant, so farming a specific ring means farming the corresponding dungeon boss.
54 Slot Bag from every boss: The 54 Slot Bag is a consistent drop across all Mirror Dungeon bosses. Even if you are farming for Onyx materials, boss kills always have the potential to provide inventory expansion for yourself or resale value.
Weapon fragments vs. direct weapon drop: The first three dungeons drop weapon fragments that require further crafting. Sunken Sanctuary skips the intermediate step and drops Sealed Onyx Weapons directly.
Tips
- Use Fishing Hole as your Mirror Dungeon hub. All four alter ego NPCs are there, saving significant travel time between runs.
- Boss respawn timers are long. Log the kill time so you know when to return rather than idling in the dungeon.
- Demonic Cave has two distinct loot tiers among its regular mobs. If you need Rough Transcendence Stone, focus on the lower-level monsters (Toxic Plant, Contaminated Plant, Multidimensional Knight, Multidimensional Warrior). The higher-level Ancient Mummy and Muron of Dimension only drop Onyx.
- Mirror Dungeons support open-world PvP. Boss spawns in popular dungeons may attract competition. Either come with a party or be prepared to defend your run.
- Sunken Sanctuary's direct Sealed Onyx Weapon drop makes it the most efficient dungeon if your level allows it. Skip grinding fragments entirely and work backward only if you need a lower-tier Chakra or ring variant.
Q: How do I enter a Mirror Dungeon?
A: Speak to the dungeon's Gatekeeper NPC at either its overworld zone location or its alter ego at Fishing Hole. All four dungeons are accessible from Fishing Hole, making it the most convenient entry point.
Q: How many bosses does each dungeon have?
A: Closed Mine has two bosses (Mining MK.II and Tabasco). Demonic Cave, Keura Monastery, and Sunken Sanctuary each have three bosses.
Q: Why do Demonic Cave's regular mobs drop different items?
A: The six regular mob types in Demonic Cave split into two loot groups. The four lower-level mobs (Toxic Plant, Contaminated Plant, Multidimensional Knight, Multidimensional Warrior) drop Unknown Onyx Fragments (Weapon) and Rough Transcendence Stone. The two higher-level mobs (Ancient Mummy, Muron of Dimension) drop Onyx only.
Q: What makes Sunken Sanctuary different from the other three dungeons?
A: Sunken Sanctuary bosses drop a Sealed Onyx Weapon directly, while bosses in the other three dungeons drop weapon fragments. It is also the highest-level dungeon, with mobs reaching level 170 and bosses at 170.
Q: Do Mirror Dungeon bosses respawn quickly?
A: No. Bosses have long respawn timers measured in hours. Track when you kill a boss and return when the timer has elapsed rather than waiting in the dungeon.
Q: Can enemy players attack me inside Mirror Dungeons?
A: Yes. Mirror Dungeons support open-world PvP. Other players can engage you inside the dungeon, which makes boss spawns particularly competitive during peak hours.
Q: What is the 54 Slot Bag used for?
A: It is an inventory expansion item. Every Mirror Dungeon boss drops it, making it a consistent bonus drop regardless of which dungeon you are farming.
