TSB Observer Mode: How to Watch Township Battle in Rohan
Not every player is in a guild that competes in Township Battle (TSB). Rohan Online provides an Observer Mode so that anyone can watch the battle live on the TSB battlefield without being able to fight. Observers are completely invisible, immune to all attacks, and move at three times normal speed.
This mode is great for new players who want to understand how TSB works before their guild is ready to compete, or for veteran players whose guilds are not participating that week.
Who Can Observe TSB?
Observer Mode is available to two groups of players only:
- Players without a guild (unguilded characters)
- Players in guilds that are NOT participating in the current week's TSB
If you are in a registered TSB guild, you cannot enter as an observer. You would be a participant instead.
How to Enter Observer Mode
- Find the Township Battle Mediator NPC. This NPC is located outside of town.
- Purchase an Observer Ticket from the Mediator.
- Locate the Township Battlefield Gatekeeper NPC, also outside of town.
- Talk to the Gatekeeper and enter the battlefield as an observer.
Both NPCs are found near the main town entrance area. Look for them just outside the town gates on the day of TSB.
What You Can Do as an Observer
While in Observer Mode, you have special properties that make you invisible and safe:
- Invisible to all players — neither guild members nor enemies can see you
- Immune to all attacks — you cannot take damage
- 3x movement speed — you move much faster than normal
These features let you freely roam the entire battlefield and watch the action from any angle without risk.
What You Cannot Do as an Observer
Observer Mode disables several functions to keep the battlefield fair:
- All chat is disabled — you cannot send or receive messages while observing
