Rohan M. Kill System: How Bonus EXP Works (7x–19x)

Curated from the Rohan community · Published June 14, 2026

Every 20th monster kill in R.O.H.A.N.: Eternal Vengeance triggers a bonus EXP multiplier — this is the M. Kill system. The multiplier ranges from 7x to 19x the base EXP of the monster you just Killed, making the M. Kill mechanic one of the most impactful passive bonuses available to any player regardless of gear or level. Understanding how the cycle works lets you time your kills for maximum EXP output on every grind session.

M. Kill Milestones

The bonus fires on every 20th kill, but not all milestones are equal. The multiplier grows as your streak advances:

Kill Count Milestone Notes
20th First bonus Lowest multiplier in the cycle (~7x base EXP)
40th Second bonus Multiplier increases
60th Third bonus Multiplier increases further
80th Fourth bonus High multiplier
100th Fifth bonus Maximum bonus — highest multiplier (~19x base EXP)
120th+ Cycle continues Resets back toward the lower end after the 100th peak

The 100th kill delivers the most bonus EXP in the entire cycle. Reaching it consistently during a grind session is the goal.

How the Multiplier Works

The multiplier is applied to the base EXP of the monster you kill on the milestone hit — not an average of all kills. This has a direct strategic implication: the higher the base EXP of the monster killed on the 20th, 40th, or 100th hit, the larger the bonus in raw EXP terms.

For example: a 19x bonus on a monster worth 500,000 EXP delivers 9,500,000 EXP in a single kill.

Key Strategy: Don't Chase the Kill

A common mistake is travelling to a high-level zone specifically to land the 20th kill on a strong monster. This wastes time and often kills momentum.

The recommended approach: stay in your current zone and pull monsters from the adjacent higher-level area nearby. This requires slightly better gear or potions (or a teammate), but the time savings outweigh the preparation cost. You keep your kill pace, maintain your M. Kill counter climb, and still benefit from higher monster EXP on the milestone hits.

Tracking Your M. Kill Count

The current M. Kill count is displayed in the Status Window — the same panel that shows your level, HP, and MP. It updates in real time as you kill monsters. Keep an eye on it as you approach milestones like 80 and 100 to plan which monster you kill last.

FAQ

Q: What is M Kill in Rohan Online?
A: M. Kill (Monster Kill) is a built-in bonus EXP system that rewards every 20th consecutive monster kill with a multiplied EXP reward ranging from 7x to 19x the base EXP of that monster.

Q: How many kills do I need for the maximum bonus EXP?
A: The maximum bonus fires on the 100th kill. Every 20-kill interval gives a bonus, but the 100th is the peak of the cycle.

Q: Does a party share the M. Kill count?
A: The guide does not confirm party-shared counters. Based on the system description, M. Kill appears to be tracked per character — each player has their own counter displayed in their own Status Window.

Q: Does the M. Kill counter reset on death or logout?
A: This is not explicitly confirmed in the source guide. As a precaution, avoid dying or logging out when your counter is close to a milestone (especially approaching 100), as a reset would cost you the peak bonus.
