How to Get a Party Rune in Rohan Online

You can obtain a Party Rune through two quests from NPC Rankist at the Fishing Hole. Both quests must be completed in order. Level 90 is required to start.

This guide walks through every step from beginning to your first Rune.

Where to Find NPC Rankist

Go to the Fishing Hole zone. Rankist is an NPC located there. Speak with Rankist to see the available quests.

Quest 1: Mystical Rune Legend

Level Requirement: 90

This quest requires one Rune Crystalstone. You obtain the Crystalstone by defeating the boss in the Minor Elemental Dungeon.

Steps:
1. Reach level 90 or above
2. Enter the Minor Elemental Dungeon
3. Defeat the dungeon boss
4. Collect the Rune Crystalstone drop
5. Return to Rankist and hand over the Crystalstone

Completing this quest unlocks the second quest.

Quest 2: There Is Nothing Free in the World

Cost: 1,000,000,000 Crones (1 Billion)

This is a one-time quest. You pay 1 billion Crones to Rankist. In exchange, you choose one Rune from the available options.

Steps:
1. Save up 1 billion Crones
2. Speak with Rankist after finishing Quest 1
3. Pay the Crone fee
4. Select the Rune type you want

Important: This quest can only be completed once. Choose your Rune type carefully.

Which Rune Should You Pick?

Talk with your regular party members before choosing. Each party member should ideally use a different Rune type. Same-type Runes do not stack — only the highest level one counts.

If you pick the wrong type, NPC Franco at the Fishing Hole sells Rune Change Tickets. You can switch your Rune type at any time using one ticket.
