Fishing Hole Hub: Access All Mirror Dungeons Fast
Each Mirror Dungeon has a Gatekeeper NPC at its respective overworld zone — but travelling to four separate zones wastes time between runs. Fishing Hole solves this: all four Gatekeeper alter egos are gathered there, letting you chain dungeon runs without leaving a single map.
The Alter Ego NPCs at Fishing Hole
| NPC | Dungeon | Zone Location (alternate entry) |
|---|---|---|
| Minor's alter ego | Closed Mine | Crystal Quarry Undergrounds |
| Leddit's alter ego | Demonic Cave | Ahkma Cave |
| Arthur's alter ego | Keura Monastery | Sanctuary |
| Wardon's alter ego | Sunken Sanctuary | Water Temple Garden |
Speak to any of the alter egos to enter the matching dungeon instantly. The alter egos function identically to the zone gatekeepers — same entry requirements, same dungeon instance.
Why Use Fishing Hole
- One location, four dungeons. No need to travel across zones between runs. Kill a Closed Mine boss, check on Demonic Cave from the same spot.
- Boss timer tracking. Because all four entry NPCs are in the same place, you can gauge reset timing for multiple dungeons in a single visit rather than scouting four zones.
- Efficient multi-dungeon sessions. Players farming multiple dungeons in one session (e.g., farming Closed Mine for Violet Chakra and Demonic Cave for Rough Transcendence Stone) save significant travel time by staging from Fishing Hole.
Zone Entry vs. Fishing Hole
If you only farm one specific dungeon and your character already spawns nearby, entering from the zone gatekeeper is equally valid. Fishing Hole is the better default if you:
- Rotate across multiple dungeons per session
- Are not already near a specific dungeon zone
- Want a consistent spawn point to manage boss cooldown timers
Q: Are the Fishing Hole alter egos available from the start, or do I need to unlock them?
A: The alter egos are available without a prerequisite quest. Any character who can reach Fishing Hole can use them to enter the Mirror Dungeons, subject to the normal level requirements for each dungeon.
Q: Can I exit a Mirror Dungeon back to Fishing Hole?
A: Exiting a dungeon returns you to the overworld near the dungeon entrance, not to Fishing Hole. Use a return scroll or travel back to Fishing Hole between runs.
Q: What if I want to farm only one dungeon? Should I still use Fishing Hole?
A: It depends on your spawn location. If you are already near a zone gatekeeper (e.g., Crystal Quarry Undergrounds for Closed Mine), use it directly. Fishing Hole is primarily a convenience hub for multi-dungeon sessions.
