Three Levels of Elemental Dungeon
The Elemental Dungeon has three difficulty levels: Minor, Intermediate, and Superior. Each level has its own EXP rewards, drops, and entry NPC. You can run all three levels in one day.
Level Comparison
| Level | NPC to Enter | EXP | Drops |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minor | Elie (Fishing Hole) | Good for your level range | Group 1 drop table |
| Intermediate | Ray (Fishing Hole) | Better than Minor | Group 1 and 2 drop table |
| Superior | Mandy (Fishing Hole) | Best of the three | Group 1 and 2 drop table, higher chance at group 2 |
All three levels give good EXP for the character level needed to enter them.
Drop Table Groups
Inside the dungeon, drops are divided into groups (Group 1 and Group 2). As you progress deeper into a run, you have a better chance of getting Group 2 drops instead of Group 1. You can only get one item per group per stage.
The same rule applies to both Intermediate and Superior levels. Superior has the best overall chance of landing Group 2 drops.
EXP Rewards
All three dungeon levels give EXP when you clear stages. This EXP is tied to the dungeon itself, not to killing monsters individually. Note that weekend XP boosts from events do not apply to the EXP you earn from dungeon stage clears — only monster kills benefit from those boosts.
Which Level Should You Run?
Run the highest level your party can handle. Superior gives the best drops and EXP. If your party is not strong enough for Superior, start with Minor or Intermediate to build your gear through the IP Mall.
Quick Tips
- You can enter each level once per day.
- All three resets happen at 4:00 AM PDT.
- Better stages inside the dungeon give you a higher chance at Group 2 drops.
- The party leader spins the roulette after each cleared stage.
