What Are the Five Elements?
The Elemental Dungeon is built around five elements from Ancient Eastern philosophy: Water, Earth, Fire, Metal, and Wood. The element your party selects at the start of a run changes what hazards and buffs apply throughout the dungeon.

Each element has its own hazards and buffs. The exact effects depend on the stage and the dungeon level you are running.
How to Choose Your Element
The party leader selects the element when the dungeon run starts. The chosen element applies to the whole party — individual players cannot pick different elements.
In the lobby, there is also a chart showing the five elements. You can click "Push" to randomly pick one of the five. You can re-roll this as many times as you want before starting.
Switching Elements
You get one free element switch per run. You can use this switch between stages (not during a fight). To switch the element during an active stage, you need a Scroll with Elemental Properties (a consumable item from events or the Item Mall).
