Blazing Temple NPC Quests Guide — All 7 NPCs Explained
Seven NPCs at the Blazing Temple entrance handle quests, conversions, and dungeon access. The Relic of the Flame Temple is the core currency that powers nearly every quest — farming it inside the dungeons is the backbone of your Blazing Temple progression.
NPC Shu — Conversion Stones (Repeatable)
Shu converts Relics into the stones needed to tier Opaniel gear up to Igniel:
- Igniel's Armor Conversion Stone: Relic x100
- Igniel's Weapon Conversion Stone: Relic x100 + Essence of Flame x100
- Igniel's Guardian Conversion Stone: Relic x100 + Crimson Flame x100
Warning: tiering Opaniel gear up to Igniel loses all spirit stones and refine levels. There is no way to recover them.
NPC Folken — Dungeon Daily Quests (Level 115)
Folken hands out one sealed dungeon entry per dungeon each day:
- "Courageous Challenge" → Sealed's Intrepid Challenge (Lamp of Flames)
- "The Long Awaited Warrior" → Sealed's Champion Challenge (Ring of Flames)
- "Real Hero" → Sealed's Hero's Challenge (Tower of Kasa)
Sealed entries last 24 hours; once unsealed they expire in 1 hour. Daily quests do not carry over — missed days are lost.
NPC Tenzo — Gear Change Tickets (Repeatable, Level 115)
Tenzo converts Relics into tickets that let you change your Igniel gear type:
- Igniel's Armor Change Ticket: Relic x100 → Transcendence Igniel Armor Change Ticket
- Igniel's Weapon Change Ticket: Relic x300 → Transcendence Igniel Weapon Change Ticket
The Weapon Change Ticket lets you switch weapon type (e.g., Sword to Bow) while keeping reinforce and enhancement levels. The Armor Change Ticket swaps between the Attack and Defense variants of an armor piece. Both lose spirit stones and refine on use.
NPC Teros — Treasure Box and Armor of Endless Flames (Repeatable + One-Time)
Teros offers two quests:
- Treasure of the Flame Temple (repeatable): Relic x20 → Flame Temple's Treasure Box
- Armor of Endless Flames (one-time per character): Relic x1500 → Armor of Endless Flames (4 sockets)
The Treasure Box has a wide drop table: Flame EXP Pouches, Blazing Flame EXP Pouches, Reinforcement Stones VI, Shiny Transcendence Stones, Opaniel armor pieces, Opaniel Exchange Tickets, Sealed Challenge entries, and Seal of Spirit Stone. The Armor of Endless Flames quest can only be completed once per character.
NPC Epo — Traces of the Count (Repeatable, Level 1)
Epo accepts Gray Phoenix drops to create Count's enhancement materials:
- Traces of the Count: Count's Crystal x100 + Count's Gem x100 → Count's Wisdom or Count's Strength
Count's Crystal and Count's Gem drop from Gray Phoenix (level 195) in the Ring of Flames dungeon, using a Gray's Cane to summon it. Both Count's Wisdom (for Transcendental Ornament) and Count's Strength (for Transcendental Eye Patch) are tradeable.
NPC Lev — Essence Conversion (Repeatable)
Lev bulk-converts Relics into Essence of Flame:
- Essence of the Flame Temple I: Relic x100 → Essence of Flame x1
- Bulk Essence of the Flame Temple II: Relic x500 → Essence of Flame x5
Use Lev to build up Essence stock for NPC Shu's Weapon Conversion Stone quest.
NPC Chero — Enhancement Stones (Repeatable, Level 115)
Chero converts Relics into enhancement stones for weapons and armor:
- Blazing Weapon Enhancement Stone: Relics → Weapon Enhancement Stone (I–VI)
- Blazing Armor Enhancement Stone: Relics → Armor Enhancement Stone (I–VI)
Q: What is the fastest way to earn Relics of the Flame Temple?
A: Farm inside the three dungeons — Lamp of Flames, Ring of Flames, and Tower of Kasa all drop Relics. You can also get them from Flame Temple Relic Boxes dropped by bosses, which yield 2–5 Relics per box.
Q: Will I lose my spirit stones when tiering up to Igniel gear?
A: Yes. Tiering Opaniel gear up to Igniel through NPC Shu removes all spirit stones and refine levels with no way to recover them.
Q: Is the Armor of Endless Flames worth 1,500 Relics?
A: It depends on your build. It comes with 4 sockets, which is one more than standard Igniel armor pieces (3 sockets), making it useful for heavy socket builds. Just remember it is a one-time-per-character quest.
