Ashkeena Dungeon Success, Failure & Death Rules
Ashkeena Dungeon ends in one of two outcomes: success after surviving the full 8 hours, or failure by wiping without recovery. Individual deaths during the run do not end the dungeon — you can Revive using resurrection scrolls or a resurrection skill. It is only when the entire party is dead simultaneously with no one able to revive that the countdown to expulsion begins.
Success
Upon reaching the 8-hour time limit with at least one party member still active, the dungeon is marked cleared. You receive a 1-minute cleanup window before your character is automatically transported back to your binding area (your last bound point in town).
Individual Death
If a single character dies during the run, revival is possible through:
- Resurrection scrolls — usable by the player or a party member
- Resurrection skills — if a party member has a rez skill available
Individual deaths do not threaten the dungeon run as long as at least one party member can revive others.
Full Party Wipe (Failure)
If every party member dies at the same time and no one can revive, a 30-second respawn timer begins. If no party member is revived within those 30 seconds, the entire party is expelled from the dungeon. This ends the run for that entry.
Auto-Cancel Condition
If your party started with 2 or more members and only 1 character remains inside the dungeon — whether because others left, the party disbanded, or they returned to town — the dungeon is automatically cancelled. A solo character remaining is treated as a failed run.
Quick Tips
- Always carry resurrection scrolls. A single death is survivable; a failed rez within 30 seconds ends the run.
- Do not disband the party or let members port to town if you started as a group of 2 or more — it auto-cancels the dungeon.
- Use the Breath of Ashkeena scroll (dropped by mobs inside) as a self-rez that revives you at the same spot.
- If you disconnect, you can re-enter by rejoining the party. See the re-entry guide for exact steps.
FAQ
Q: What happens when you die in Ashkeena Dungeon?
A: If only your character dies, others can revive you with resurrection scrolls or skills. The dungeon continues. If the entire party dies and no one is revived within 30 seconds, the party is expelled.
Q: How do you succeed in Ashkeena Dungeon?
A: Survive inside the dungeon for the full 8 hours. After the timer expires, you get a 1-minute cleanup period before being transported to your binding area.
Q: Does leaving the dungeon cancel it for everyone?
A: Not immediately. But if you started as a party of 2 or more and only 1 character remains inside, the dungeon automatically cancels.
Q: Can I use resurrection scrolls to recover from a party wipe?
A: Yes. After a full party wipe, you have a 30-second window. If any party member can be revived within that window, the dungeon continues.
