Ashkeena Dungeon Difficulty Levels Explained

Ashkeena Dungeon has three entry tiers (Minor, Intermediate, Superior) each with two stage variants — giving you six distinct combinations of challenge and monster level. Choosing the right tier depends entirely on your character's level: Minor accepts characters from 31–90, Intermediate from 91–115 (+49 bonus), and Superior is locked to Transcendence-level characters. Within each tier, Stage 1 features more manageable monster levels while Stage 2 pushes monsters noticeably higher and demands better gear and strategy.

Difficulty Tier Overview

Level Stage Entry Level Required Monster Level Range Boss
Minor Stage 1 31–90 45 to 55 Ashkeena
Minor Stage 2 31–90 55 to 65 Ashkeena
Intermediate Stage 1 91–115 (+50) 75 to 85 Ashkeena
Intermediate Stage 2 91–115 (+50) 85 to 95 Ashkeena
Superior Stage 1 ULVL (Transcendence) 105 to 115 Ashkeena
Superior Stage 2 ULVL (Transcendence) 115 to 125 Ashkeena

Stage 1 vs Stage 2

When you talk to NPC Ashhart inside the dungeon lobby, she offers you a choice between Stage 1 and Stage 2 for your selected tier. Stage 1 spawns monsters at the lower end of the tier's level range — a safer starting point if your party is newly entering a tier. Stage 2 spawns stronger monsters and is intended for well-geared parties that want harder content and potentially better rewards.

Monster Types (All Tiers)

The same three monster families appear in all tiers — only their levels change:

  • Dark Kerberos — two-headed hound enemy
  • Corrupted Might Armors — armored melee enemy
  • Corrupted Skull Warriors — undead ranged/melee enemy
  • Ashkeena — final boss present in all tiers

Quick Tips

  • All three tiers share a 3 entries per week limit — use them wisely.
  • Superior Dungeon is only available to characters at Transcendence Level (ULVL).
  • If your party wipes and cannot Revive within 30 seconds, you are ejected. Plan your stage choice based on your party's survival ability.
  • Start on Stage 1 if this is your first time in a new tier; move to Stage 2 once you know the monster density and boss mechanics.
